True humility vs. False humility

Do you find it difficult for you to receive from God? There is only one "roadblock" that will keep you from receiving from God, and that is PRIDE. Pride sees the world through the eyes of "self". On the other extreme of pride is what I call"false humility" which seems like true humility. It says "I'm needy, pitiful, worthless, am an ole sinner that don't deserve anything. I used to think this way, but when I found out that God sees me way more than I see myself, I started to discover that there was more that I was missing out on. I began to want to know the God that saw me as VALUABLE and worth dying for. My perception of myself began to change when I began pondering on His love for me. What freedom and self worth I discovered when I realized that He was in me and I was in Him via the Holy Spirit.

Here is a video teaching I did recently concerning the subject of humility!

Continue in His love

The only way anyone can fill the void of “need” is to fill it with Jesus. Jesus is the peace everyone is looking for, they just don’t realize it. Religion has misrepresented God, to the point, that the world no longer sees God as being relevant to them or their needs. They have been taught that God is harsh and judgmental, and from the same mouth, told that He also loves them. This represents that of a “schizophrenic” in personality, or someone who is “moody” and not stable in their thoughts and emotions. No wonder many people have lost interest in their Creator, they see Him as a God that takes from them instead of a God that loves them and wants to give to them the only thing that will totally satisfy.

Allow your heart to receive the goodness of God's love!

What is the #1 reason for all of the chaos in the world? Why can't peoples just simply get along and have peace among themselves? They cannot because the human race lost it's ability to love God and love each other! Man lost his capacity to "receive" LOVE from his Creator and thus cannot give love to anyone else. In other words, man cannot love himself with the unconditional love of God. The "ego" of man disables his ability to perceive through the eyes of his original design. He was designed to love but more importantly, to be loved by "experiencing" a relationship with the ONE who is love.

1Jn 4:11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1Jn 4:12  No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

Jesus has made us able to receive God's love again by becoming the "unloved" of the world. God has more value for humanity than humanity has for itself. Allow God to love you today, you just might begin to love yourself and the end result could be that you will love someone else!
